In this workshop, we will explore:
The Five Necessary Elements Your Memoir must include: Your Truth; Your Theme; Your Unique Voice; Your Musings, told in First Person Narrative
A Powerful Theme to bind the pattern of your memories: Which thread of your life’s pattern will you follow? How does that choice affect your story?
How to Use Layers of the Story to make your memoir compelling: Using the senses, setting, character development with those little telling details; and dialogue in place and time.
Join Ethel Lee-Miller and Beth Lane. Ethel and Beth have worked and played with words for over a decade, writing, reading and honing their craft. Ethel has her MA in Counseling and Beth has decades of experience in the coaching field. Both are published authors and actively writing. Together they bring their writing and counseling skills to provide the best in how-to, content, and seminar environment.
There will be time for learning, writing, discussion and feedback, in a safe and supportive atmosphere. This workshop is suitable for basic beginner to published authors beginning a new project.
